In this video I have added electrical tape to the flask seam and hole and placed it on the vacuum table. I tested this process extensively and an actual vacuum cleaner like a shop vac works much better than a vacuum pump. The strength of the vacuum pump can actually pull the clay into the suction hole which can cause harm to the pump and cause a blowout. Ring is cast in sterling silver.
