October 21, 2009. Test of San Clemente's Whelen sirens which are part of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) community alert siren system.
The two sirens heard in this video are site SC-18 (at the bottom of the hill) and SC-19 (at the top of the hill). I'm standing across the street from the fire station on Avenida La Pata about halfway between both sirens.
