The last episode of Samurai Jack was a disappointing, predictable, and rushed mess. It was really bad, from the choreography, to the animation, to the plot holes, and especially Jack not realizing he invalidated the entire future that he fought to protect on many occasions. The romance plotline between Ashi and Jack (that in hindsight definitely should not have been written in the first place) wraps up in the most cliched eye-rolling manner imaginable. This video is mostly a rant where I vent my frustrations about the ending Samurai Jack was given. I will probably do a more comprehensive retrospective of the entire season in the future, although you can also check out my individual episode reviews (which unlike this video, were mostly positive).
Those first 3 episodes of the 5th season had such potential... what a waste.
