The season 7 premiere of Adventure Time hits off with backstory into Princess Bubblegum's family and origin; we meet Bonnie's weirdo brother Neddy for the first time and learn of his importance to the Candy Kingdom.

For a season premiere, the episode didn't deliver the impact I would have hoped for, but it was still an intriguing and provocative episode that provided an extra layer to PB's character.
