The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 should launch and release in summer 2026, and could come in a surprising second flavour. Here's a round up of the latest leaks and rumours surrounding the Samsung Z Fold 8, including the 'Wide' model that's set to launch simultaneously.

Here's hoping that model is a 'fan edition' with a cheaper price, because these Galaxy foldables aren't too friendly on the wallet. We're expecting the Samsung Z Fold 8 to rise in price slightly here in the UK, but also boast some much-needed upgrades. As great as the Fold 7 was, that battery life was rather pants. Leaks and rumours point to a much-needed update, to compete more closely with the OPPO Find N6 and Honor Magic V6.

For the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 to be one of the best foldable phones of 2026, it could also do with a crease-free screen. Preferably with a less smudgey protector slapped on top. Gaming should be super-smooth if the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is in charge, with vapor chamber cooling. And here's hoping the Samsung Z Fold 8 also sports fast charging support for the battery.
