latest one ui 7 update has introduced screen dimming issues, either it causes my phone to overheat past the acceptable threshold thermal guardian uses or the setting no longer works, either way the screen dims again and it was consistently bright before I updated
remember that this applies if you like me keep adaptive off and max brightness on with extra brightness toggle on, if you don't use lower brightness or if you use adaptive then you're not affected
do note that I have not tried clearing cache yet as a USB cable is required and I don't have one I use qi permanently now.
i wanted to show the screen dimming problem myself but it's likely easy to reproduce on a ultra phone just use it for a while or game and confirm that extra brightness toggle no longer works you'll notice when the brightness goes down
apart from this I'm pretty content with the s24 ultra I waited 10 years for a near perfect phone and finally I have it the sot with max brightness gaming max display hz is 10 hours that's impressive and the least I accept is 7 8 as my Huawei mate 10 pro did that so it became my benchmark and s24 ultra beat that record.
