I took a few moments to grab this sample footage from the Sony PMW-100, PMW-150 and PMW-200 on the Sony camera set at IBC. Not at all scientific and not precisely controlled so don't read too much into the footage. Shot at 25p, preset white on all 3 cameras. As you go up the range (and price) the quality of the images from the cameras gradually gets better. The PMW-150 was pretty good for a 3x 1/3" camera with minimal noise. The PMW-200 is the best of the bunch in my opinion, but if your on a tight budget and need a big zoom range the PMW-150 with it's 20x zoom is a viable option, although as the focus and zoom rings are of the round and round servo variety the lens is not as nice to use as the 14x zoom on the 200.
