On April 22, 2025, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to open Salt Fork State Park’s Eco-Discovery Center. The center features interactive exhibits, terrariums and aquariums with live animals, and an introduction to Salt Fork’s legendary resident, Bigfoot. Bigfoot will guide visitors through the space sharing the messages of sustainability and conservation.
