We’re off to Saint Louis. Saint-Louis lies at the mouth of the Senegal River.It is situated on an island accessible via a steel bridge, which is held together entirely by bolts and nuts. Saint Louis is the former colonial capital of French West Africa, with houses featuring cast-iron balconies.The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a festival of colours, with people in brightly coloured robes and stunning headdresses.
