This is one of three tutorial videos showing how to make three types of sailcloth bags — a tote bag, a satchel bag and a dopp bag. This tutorial focuses on making the sailcloth tote bag. The sailcloth tote bag features a #10 zippered flange opening and a cotton duck lining inside the bag with 6 internal pockets. Handles are made from New England Premium 3-Strand Nylon Rope with Jiffy Grommets for rope insert holes. Order the Sailrite® Sailcloth 3-in-1 Bag Kit. It includes all the materials required to make all three bags yourself. Also included is a plotted pattern so you can cut each of the panels for the bags to the exact size. Use the patterns again and again to make as many as you like; simply order more notions and materials to additional bags.
