In this video, we’ll demonstrate how to use the Sailrite® HandyPress® to set eyelets in leather applications. Set the desired compression on the HandyPress by raising or lowering the upper shaft. Once it is set to your preference, no further adjustments are required. Use the HandyPress, combined with these dies, to consistently punch a hole* and set the eyelet in your leather with a simple and easy pull of the hand lever. We call that process the "Sweet Spot" compression, similar to how a set of Vise-Grips™ work.
* Some leather will require a hole to be pre-punched prior to installing the eyelet.
