Today we're going to go on a virtual walking tour of the Summer White House, the Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, which was President Theodore Roosevelt’s summer home from 1885 until his death in 1919. In addition to his home, you can see the Old Orchard Home, the Eel Creek salt marshes, the family beach at Cold Spring Harbor, a variety of farm structures as well as beautiful trails and orchard fields. Located in Oyster Bay Cove on Long Island, New York, this 155 acre National Park site is a wonderful way to learn about the the Roosevelt family history, the home itself or enjoy the tranquility of the grounds.
