You should equip robes on everyone as magic is the main threat in this fight. Some stuns are also useful and you want to have a magic user casting Rain of Life the entire time. When you aren't aiming for Stuns or Distracts, you should be trying to poison the enemies. Main focus should always be on the Hot Springs Rana as it can just summon more slimes if they are killed.
