Synopsis:
Cropping Factor is a surreal, oneiric music video exploring the intrinsic relationship between mortality and artmaking. The film follows an artist on her deathbed, confronting the inevitability of their own death by navigating their creative process. The two characters reflect her as both a technical and conceptual artist, the split between the two driving the narrative and inviting viewers to themselves consider how the certainty of their own death colours their experience of artmaking and art appreciation.
