This 3 night ~30-mile trip started and ended right outside my summer gig's back door at Bowery Haven Resort on Utah's Fish Lake. Often overlooked for nearby Redrock Canyon country, Fishlake National Forest offers a comfortably elevated respite from the summer heat. Popular activities include fishing as well as a variety of hiking and riding trails with spectacular views and opportunities to view wildlife and smell the flowers.
