Enjoy the bloopers where I make a complete joke out of myself![Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - Sunset RunawayAbrix2020-12-18 | Hello you beautiful people!
It's been some time, I know. I've been away for a couple months and I'm sorry for that. Had to balance my time between work and university. My whole explanation for that is on my insta.
Anyways, today I bring you this neat little song made on stream. I enjoyed making this song, although I don't really remember exactly how I did it. The base for the song is this very simple guitar melody which u can vibe to by itself but together with the pianos, bass, and lofi drums it creates a nice warm and relaxing feeling. Every time I listen to this I visualize sitting on a nice beach and relaxing while watching the sun go down.
To those who are desperate and lost in the pandemic, I know that all of you will be okay, we will make it through this together. I hope this song distracts you from the 4 walls you currently are almost trapped in every day!
Thanks to all of the people that support me to this day and wait for my uploads! I love you all! Here's a nice little reward for reading this, enjoy: youtu.be/UBER8K2iKlA

Sorry I've been not uploading for a long time! This is probably gonna be the very last episode of the arrangement of this collab! I've done my part and I'm excited as to what Sam has planned! I also put in a surprise for Sam and for all of you guys ;) Anyways, I have a ton of stuff going on in my life so I'm very sorry if I won't upload as much! Enjoy this video!
Anyways, thank all of you for watching this video! Every like and comment warms my heart! Here's something for reading through this: youtu.be/ZnpPJ57lJVc
I'm back with a neat little Lofi song that I've created during the last stream! It was very nice to work on while talking to others, really felt like the song was created not only by me but also by the viewers as well ^^ To this song: Most of the song was created using the LABS plug-in by Spitfire Audio. It's a very nice free plug-in with a TON of presets, I'm surprised it's free! Especially the soft piano preset was so prettyyyyy. Thanks a lot for Lina_Labs for telling me to use this plug-in! Anyways, thank you to all the people that were there on stream! You guys are amazing!
As always, thanks for all of the likes and comments, they warm my heart :) Here's a little something for reading through this: youtu.be/BwknA6aGqvs
Sweet memories on which I'm never looking back Cause they could catch me in a dream I'd never leave Sweet memories I'm never going to regret Oh what they did to me in times I won't forget
I never called them back from gardens of my mind I never asked them to stay in me all the time, but Because of them it's really comfortable and warm And I will stay happy and calm all on my own
Sweet memories they make me smile all day and night Sweet memories they make my eyes shine fair and bright Sweet memories oh never leave me on my own So that I'll never catch the feeling of alone
I don't I don't want to be alone, alone again I need something that makes me happy for all day So I'm swinging along to my imaginary song And dancing through the rainy days and nights Never regret Never forget
Sweet memories they make me smile all day and night Sweet memories they make my eyes shine fair and bright Sweet memories oh never leave me on my own So that I never catch the feeling of alone
Sweet memories they make me smile all day and night Sweet memories they make my eyes shine fair and bright Sweet memories oh never leave me on my own So that I'll never be alone, alone Again
Hello you beautiful people!
Oh boy, this is a BIG ONE! Hello and welcome to the track I've been working on for the past 2 months! I am SO happy that this song finally came out after working on it for so long! First and foremost, thank you a THOUSAND times Dashuljanikolaeva! It was a treat working with her, she has a beautiful voice and was always happy to record and very kind overall. I hope you enjoyed working with me as much as I did! Make sure to check out her insta: instagram.com/dashuljanikolaeva Second off, MASSIVE thank you for rhoart for the STUNNING artwork. This album cover is (in my opinion) the best I've EVER had! It fits the mood of the song perfectly and captures everything that the song represents! Definitely check out his Fiverr and make a purchase yourself if you like what you see: fiverr.com/share/71v1q1 He also provided me with individual layers of the artwork so I could make this very small Cartoon/Puppetplay type of animation! Thanks a lot, buddy!
Now, onto the production of the track: This song took a lot of coordination to make. Going into the first planning sessions with Dasha, I had no idea if I could come up with anything good enough on the fly. I knew she liked Smooth Jazz but I had no idea if I could come up with anything on the fly, so you can guess, I was pretty nervous at our first planning/recording session. But as you can see in the into, I did come up with something, doesn't it sound like a 007 James Bond type of intro? xD Everything changed though, when I found this very nice sounding loop online, just a plain gypsy piano loop made by the talented musician thechockehold. (Go check out his stuff: looperman.com/loops?mid=thechockehold) It fit PERFECT intro the whole mood of the song so I decided to make an Electroswing song out of it. Dasha loved how it sounded, and so did I. Overall it took us 3 recording sessions over the span of 1,5 months to record all the vocals. It was very time-consuming but also very fun and hilarious sometimes! A nice and warm cup of tea here and there helped to calm the nerves and try again! Also, massive thanks for helping me mix and master the song to Edgar Willow! A very talented musician and an old friend of mine! Go check out his Soundcloud as well: soundcloud.com/edgarwillow
This is pretty much everything I wanted to say to this project of mine, I hoped you enjoyed this as much as I did, it was SO much fun working on it. Again, thank you to all the people that helped me and worked with me on this song, I couldn't have done it without you guys!!! And a HUGE thank you for listening to this! As always, thank you so much for the comments and likes. It truly warms my heart! Here's a little treat for reading through all of this! This is something I recently discovered on YouTube and now I can't get it out of my head: The song itself: youtu.be/AlLid7sY4NE The awesome animation: youtu.be/jTWb-RIdN-I

#SweetMemories #Electroswing #SwingLets COLLAB | Bass House with Lofi Hip Hop Bridge and MORE! (Episode 4)Abrix2020-08-23 | Hello you beautiful people!
GUESS WHOS BACK, BACK AGAIN! Ok soooo bear with me: Yes, I was gone for a month, yes I haven't been uploading. But I have an explanation, whiiiiiiiiich is private so Ill just say, life happened. Sometimes you get busy. Buuuut were back in black so expect new videos to come out soon enough!
I am back with a new episode of the Bass House/ Lofi Hip Hop collab whoooooooooooooweeeee finally! This time I was working on the bridge and partially on the drop, making a b section to the drop and also a main Lofi part after the drop. Wrote a new bassline, a new lead (and I think you will be excited about this because I was too ^^), all kinds of goodies. Unfortunately, I was only able to upload it today, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut this is one step forward in completing this song!
Overall I think this song is gonna end up amazing. We have created something that sounds unique and is technically a new genre. Idk how Sam called it, "LofHo"? xD Anyways I am so grateful for every comment and every like, it srsly warms my heart! Here's a little treat for reading all of this: youtu.be/phbQDW0XrdQ

#BassHouse #LofiHipHop #MusicTutorialLets COLLAB | Mixing in My Ideas | Bass House/Lofi ... (Episode 2)Abrix2020-07-12 | Hello you beautiful people!
Welcome to the 2nd episode of the Bass House Lofi collab with the amazing musician Antodite Audio. I absolutely loved what Sam had come up with. The Reese bass was awesome and the chord progression was stunning! So I wanted to return the favor! Enjoy!
I already said it in my video but I'll say it here as well. Unfortunately, I had to do a voice-over this time due to OBS being stupid. It recorded in the wrong resolution and it looked like utter doo doo so I had to redo it. The next video will (hopefully) be in the style the viewers from Antidote are familiar with!
Anyways, thank all of you for the support, the likes, and the comments! It means a lot to me! Here's a little something for reading this and watching this video: youtu.be/BwqSraJpqfs

Regarding the Antidote Collab, I already have a couple of ideas I could implement. The only thing I fear I could fuck up is the recording style. But ill try! Hello you beautiful people!
I am back with a follow-up to my last video! Today the topics are STEMS and how to COMBINE different kinds of genres. In this video, you will learn about what stems are what you have to pay attention to when you're either working or making stems and of course, how to combine two genres from both sides of the collab and more...
It's so exciting to see everything coming together! The video was delayed for a week because timewise it wasn't working out for Sam and myself but now it's finally out and I hope you enjoy it! We coordinated it so that the first episode of our collab would come out at the same time as this video so go watch it as well because its gonna be FIREEE!
There's so much more to say to the coordination but I am going to keep it tight because I only have a capacity of 5000 letter xD. All I'm gonna say is that the script was well planned out and managed by us both, the files to the collab were successfully sent and the whole recording was planned out very well so it wasn't that hard to record.
To the editing, I have to say that I definitely like this video more than the first one! It didn't feel rushed and I had enough time to edit everything perfectly and because I had more time to work on the script I had more time to think about how I would edit certain parts. I really hope that people will like it ^^
I feel like I have to balance out the next tutorials regarding the scripts. On the one hand, a script helps to collect your thoughts and is more professional but on the other hand, I feel like my videos lack a little improvisation and a little more... I guess, me? My problem is usually that even though I speak (almost) perfect English I still stutter and get lost in my thoughts because I lack the ability to improvise everything on the fly but I think I already know the solution to this problem! So if you feel like the tutorials that come after this one are more awkward or less structured, it is because of that. All I can say is, I'm trying to improve but also I'm human so I'm not perfect!
Other than that, I want to thank all of you for the support and the comments! It means a lot to get some feedback for the video! Thank you for reading this! Today I brought not one but two nice videos for you to watch! Enjoy: video one: youtu.be/-42P_iYrthM video two: youtu.be/S_gnnnAEcso

I am FINALLY back with another Lofi song. This one, I had a problem actually categorizing because it technically had too much energy for a Lofi song but it also sounded like one. I just ended up with a "Japanese Style Lofi" song!
This song was inspired and mostly made with a loop I found on the internet. The person who made the loop is Skullxboi, go check out his Insta, he's a pretty talented dude: instagram.com/skullxboibeats
This song was actually pretty long in production because of two reasons. Reason 1, when I made the demo loop I had NO idea what to do with it at first. Fortunately, some Japanese musical pieces inspired me. And reason 2 is: I finally graduated Highschool WHOOOOOOOOO partyyyyyy! I had a lot of stuff to do including preparing for the graduation ceremony so I didn't really have much time for music.
Other than that, I found this STUNNING looking video and decided to use it with my song! It's so BEAUTIFUL! It also resembles the chill waterfall/water sounds in the song very much!
Thank you all for the support in the comments, I really appreciate all the positive feedback, even if its just one person! Here's a little something that I've been listening to for HOURS so I hope you'll like it as much as I do: youtu.be/-kWFRyQ5VU8

#JapaneseLofi #LofiHipHop #ChillhopLets COLLAB! | Data Transfer, TYPES Of Collabs, (feat...), Clouds.. | What to do BEFORE collabing!Abrix2020-06-20 | Hello you beautiful people! I believe this one is gonna be pretty fun to watch! XD
FINALLY, another tutorial video! This time, its a tutorial on how to collab! I sat down and thought "Hm.... how to do people know how to collab with people correctly?" Well... xD now you will. Keep in mind, this is a 2 parter, so there's gonna be another collab tutorial about the rather music stuff od the collab. This one is pretty interesting too, its about the planning before the collab. I've seen so many people just fail because they didn't plan out their collabs well enough, because some people just did what they wanted and/or because there wasn't enough communication so today you are going to learn exactly that
A couple of weeks ago I met Sam from @AntidoteAudio, a very talented musician and I thought "HMM.... he makes tutorials, I make tutorials... COINCIDENCE, I think NOT!" So we decided to make a collab video about how to collab plus making an actually collab..... collabception? I'm sure you guys will love the practical collab and I hope you guys will love it as much as we do!
Regarding the editing: So I started writing the script for the collab video when I realized that the script itself was maybe about 5 pages long xD so obviously I had to either cut it down or split it. I decided to split it. That's why the editing is a little "lighter" than it was in the "Let's Make Music" videos although the script was in work for a couple of weeks. But even if the editing was lighter I still had a lot of fun making this video and providing all of you this valuable information both Sam and I gathered for you!
Thank all of you for the support, the comments and everything else! Because of you I finally have made the decision to put my music out on Spotify and also get the artist badge on youtube! #MusicTutorial #HowToCollab #MusicEducation[Chill Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - Sleepless Night (Studying music)Abrix2020-06-07 | Hello you beautiful people!
I'm back with another Lofi Hip Hop track! I had an absolute BLAST making this song. I started with yet another loop I found and it inspired me. I chopped it up, as usual, and so forth BUT this track is something special (at least for me) because I finally got to use my E-Guitar for the first time! You can hear them at 1:34 . Although they're very subtle and have lots and lots of delay and reverb in them I find that it adds so much depth and personality to the track. I ABSOLUTELY geeked out when I tried it out at first, obviously, I struggled with finding the notes quite a bit but in the end, it all paid off 100%! I even had some harmonics in there (and had to finetune them cause they were some cents off). That external audio interface I bought was worth every penny, I tell you! I hope that I will be able to use the guitar again sometime, it was really really fun!
The cover art was made by a really talented artist and music producer Yung Phat. In my opinion, it resembles and embodies the feeling I was trying to bring across with the song perfectly, just a sleepless night where you just lay in bed and look at the moon/ the stars and, just exist. Check them out!

#Chillhop #LofiHipHop[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix & Kota - Roadtrip (Chillhop, Jazzhop 2020)Abrix2020-06-01 | Hello you beautiful people!
I've come back with another Lofi Hip-Hop song! This time I had a collab with Dakota Seitz, a talented starting musician with a shit ton of potential! Go check out his youtube channel and subscribe: youtube.com/user/DakotaSeitz95/featured Also go check out his SoundCloud: soundcloud.com/dakota-seitz I had a really fun time collabing on this song! It started with a melody loop that I made out of 4 different ones. I merged all of them together to create one really nice loop. Afterwards, it was sent to Kota and he really did magic on the loop, added a bass and merged and arranged everything. After mixing and mastering the whole thing and adding some more ideas to it, it was done.
It's actually really cool how it turned out, it has a certain vibe I felt back when we were on our way to Italy in a car. It was this feeling of looking out of the car window as everything outside passes slowly. I remembered this exact feeling, that's why we called it "Roadtrip".
On this note, thank you all for the support and the comments! I really appreciate every one of you! Here's a really wholesome and happy song as a reward for reading this! Enjoy: youtu.be/z0u3RmiPALI

#LofiHipHop #JazzHop[Future Funk] Earth, Wind & Fire - Lets Groove (Abrix Edit)Abrix2020-05-25 | Hello you beautiful people!
I am back again with a Future Funk remix and LET ME TELL YOU, this is one of the BEST I have done in probably ever! I had such a BLAST remixing this, from chopping up the samples to making drums, everything was just PERFECT. Some initial problems were thinking of how the song is gonna be structured because there were parts in the song I didnt want so I had to cut them out. You don't even wanna know how long I just listened to this and danced in my chair, I hope you get the same energy from this remix as I did! Halfway through the song I had a genious Idea, what if midway in the track I slowed down a loop and just make a vaporwave/synthwave section? Obiously I had to look up some tutorials on how to do this buuuuuuut Future Funk and Vapor/Synthwave are basically two branches of the same tree and let me tell you, it worked PERFECTLY. I put some nice analog synths in there along with a lead and a drumkit with a highly reverbed snare and booooom! Sorry, I might be geeking out too much hehe...
The hardest part about the editing wasnt the video itself but rather the Coverart/ Thumbnail. I took the iconic thumbnail from the "September" video on youtube and redrew Maurice White as a minimalistic-type of character, this took some time to make but in the end, it was worth it (and shhh I know the mic looks like shit but stfu, Im not an artist xD)
Anyways, thanks for the comments and the support, it means alot to me! Share this video with your friends and hit the like and get notified! Also, heres alittle something for reading this, youve earned it: youtu.be/EGyfdtW5zn0

#FutureFunkRemix #EarthWindAndFire #Synthwave[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - On The RooftopAbrix2020-05-23 | Hello you beautiful people!
Back with another Lofi Hip-Hop song but this one is actually more "Hip-Hop" than Lofi lol! This initially was supposed to be a little side project because it was just supposed to be a background song for my "Lets Make Music" video but it turned out to be a full on song! Back when I was searching for some bg music to put underneath the video I couldn't find anythign usefull so I just though, yknow what, imma just make something myself! The thing is that putting a(nother) Lofi song in there felt alittle repetetive so I tried to find a sample that was more energetic and that resembled the "Oldstyle Hip Hop" genre more.
There's not much to write to this song other than when I was making it it sounded very similiar to something I saw in a movie when the main charackters were sitting on a roof so I just named it likewise. Thank all of you for the support in the comments, it warms my heart everytime I see a new comment! Here's alittle something for reaing this, enjoy: youtu.be/cbk9IiaSHm8

#LofiHipHop #JazzHop[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - Floating On Puffy CloudsAbrix2020-05-20 | Hello you beautiful people!
I hope all of you are doing good! Im back with a Lofi song to make you all relaxed. This song was very interesting to make actually, I had some problems with editing the initial sample actually. But as you can see, I succeeded! And I actually got to SING here (just in a short part). I still need to improove on my singing and vocal mixing but it sounds very very good nevertheless! Also, the sax felt right in the musical context!
The song is inspired by a feeling that I constantly had a couple of years back. I just wanted to lay down, not think about anything and just let myself float (on clouds, hehe). It just encapsulates my feelings back then alot, I felt like I wanted to express those through my music. By the way, the bass you hear in this song is called a Reese Bass, I was talking to Edgar Willow (fellow musician) again, consulting and discussing various musical problems with genres we had and in the end the Reese Bass he reccomended me to have in the song was worth making! Sounds fantastic!
Thank you, as always, for the support and comments! Dont forget to like and hit the bell! Heres alittle something for reading this! I feel like this video was what I needed back the actually: youtu.be/x15fkhih3qQ Have a great day, stay safe! -Abrix

#LofiHipHop #Chillstep[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - Count The StarsAbrix2020-05-15 | Hello you beautiful people!
I am back with a Lofi Hip-Hop song! This one is pretty special to me since this was the first video after the Fall For You collab with Edgar Willow where I could finally apply everythign that I learned from him! Starting with the initial sample I changed it in a drastic way. The first step was pretty easy: as always just chop the sample into a loop. The second step is where the fun begins: I took the same sample loop and reversed every part individually. This created the feeling as if something pulled you (musically speaking). Added with a Delay effect and a some reverb it sounded VERY very nice.
I love to just chill out while listening to the song. As the title already said, this is something you would listen to if you were in a car while its softly raining and just sitting there and counting stars. I think the thumbnail matches the feeling pretty much perfectly!
As always, thank you for the continuing support in the comments, it warms my heart everytime I see someone new commenting! Heres something cute for watching this video and reading the description: youtu.be/d2CTVqt2wxU
Thank you all for watching my videos, I try to put as much effort into them as possible. Stay tuned for more stuff ^^
#Chillhop #LofiHipHopLets make MUSIC | [2020] How to begin making Music in ANY DAWAbrix2020-05-12 | Check out @InspirAspir 's music theory tutorial: youtube.com/watch?v=n2z02J4fJwg&t=1s Check out @andrewhuang 's music theory video: youtube.com/watch?v=rgaTLrZGlk0&t=2s Oh boy, this is gonna be a long one... Hello you beautiful people!
It's finally out! The video I have been teasing, announcing and promoting and the video I have been most excited about! I feel like the info I'm gonna share with you is so much that Ill separate it into different parts so buckle up! I promise its gonna be worth it to read tho, I have a special surprise for you guys ;)
PREPARATIONS: Okay, so: After the Lofi Hip-Hop tutorial I was thinking about how to make my videos (where I actually talk) more organized. At the same time, I wanted to improve on the overall graphical and audible quality. I had 3 problems and I found 3 solutions: 1.Organization: Obviously I wanted to create a script because back when I was recording the Lofi tutorial (and the Future Funk one as well) I had massive problems with expressing what I wanted to express with the right words thus wasting more time at and after the recording. I started out with something 90% of the population doesn't know it even existed: with a Microsoft whiteboard cluster! I collected all the information I wanted to be in the video. The app is synced to my Microsoft account so whenever I would go out I would take my laptop with me and brainstorm outside which helped because I had nothing that could distract me. After I was done (or at least I felt so) I started writing the script. The process alone took me over 2-3 weeks to complete, only writing down the basic ideas at first and only then organizing them and noting down jokes and improving them. Yada yada, I ended up with 4 PAGES of script, Jesus Christ... 2. Graphical and 3.Audible quality can be summed up to one: I knew I wanted the video to be better in any way shape or form. For that I got myself a new tripod and, most importantly, I FINALLY found out how to record on my phone without the stupid time limit. Obviously, the phonecam was WAY better than the webcam that I used. Although I used the same mic (Blue Yeti Mic) I improved the quality of my voice by far by using Voicemeeter, a free program that compresses and EQs your mic signal. Funny enough the voice was recorded in Audacity out of all programs xD
EDITING: The part that both, took the longest time to complete, and had the most coffee running through my veins was definitely the editing! I spent almost double the time on the editing compared to the script making but it definitely paid off! Preparing the main video: At first, I had to separate all clips I wanted from the clips that were trash (I actually made a separate blooper video! Its pretty funny, here, as a reward that you've come this far: youtu.be/RWmA0x-BbJk ). This process alone took me over a week plus a couple of sleepless nights because I was so focused on editing. Obviously, there were a lot of cuts needed to be made, especially zooms and texts Animation: Yes, it even had a stop motion animation! I individually drew out all the 46 frames on a 3-buck-whiteboard I got from a dollar-shop (this sounds so ridiculous), scanned them in, edited them in Gimp, put them in a separate Sony Vegas project, animated it and only then put it in the main project. Phew, it took SO much time but it was worth every second!!! Lastly, I wanted to talk about the background music. Who would've thought, it was all made by meeee, yay! It featured some Lofi Hip-Hop tracks that I have already posted and a jazz loop that I experimented with for quite some time. It also featured my newest song "On The Rooftops" that's out on Soundcloud rn so go check it out.
If you've made it this far I want to officially congratulate you for graduating in Abrixoligy, the art of making everything longer as it should be! Real talk, the support I got from all of you is absolutely AMAZING. It makes me happy every time I get a new comment. Thank all of you so much for watching this, I spent a crazy amount of time to create this video! Thank you for reading all of this! In fact, you're all so great that you deserve two videos as a reward! Thank you for being with me on this wild journey that is Youtube: youtu.be/izHfs38kmXY youtu.be/CBMz8XZT3ho

#HowToMakeMusic #MusicTutorial #MusicEducation[Future Funk] Abrix x Hshmt Akira - Nice to meet youAbrix2020-05-05 | Hello you beautiful people!
This is yet another Future Funk Remix I made with my friend and fellow musician Akira! This time it was the other way around: He made most of the song, provided the audio and everything and I added some parts of my own. Also corrected some sample glitches and boosted the drums quite a bit.
The hardest part in the song was the heavy and aggressive amount of mixing and mastering I had to do on the song. The highs were too high, the lows to quiet and the drums too punchy. Overall it took me long to mix this but in the end it all payed off. Now its a great beat to listen to when youre feeling down. The song itself came from an anime intro, I believe. Akira is a very talented individual so go check him out and give him some love: soundcloud.com/hshmt
Thank all of you for the support you give me and all the feedback, I really really appreciate everything youre doing! Heres alittle thank you for watching the video and reading the description: youtube.com/watch?v=o0-DCn9Vao0

#FutureFunk #JapaneseFunk #Remix[Future Funk] Michael Jackson - Rock With You [Hshmt Akira & Abrix Remix]Abrix2020-05-01 | Hello you beautiful people!
I am back with another Future Funk Remix! Ive honestly had so much fun making this track. A friend of mine requested this song to be remixed and I said, "yknow what, challenge accepted". It turned out super funky and super awesome it just has this vibe, this energy that just makes you want to dance (or in my case, jump around in my chair, sush im lazy)
I couldnt've finished this song without my friend and fellow musician Hshmt Akira. He added the small piano, corrected the song with his awesome glitches. He is very very skilled and his music is awesome. I recommend you guys to check him out on his soundcloud: soundcloud.com/hshmt
I actually have had a pretty hard time picking the right video footage for the song since I didnt want to rip off the original video and just remake it. I eventually settled on a very high res gif which, unfortunately, wasnt in the right size, so I had to think around the box about what I could do about it. In the end I resized it so that the head was out of the frame (unfotunately) but so that it didnt look like I just cut it off and added the yellow background across the whole screen. It turned out pretty nice! Cheers, Markus! You know who you are!
Anyways, thank you all for the support! It honestly amazes me that even a hundred people listened to the shit I post on here! Heres a thank you and a reward for watching the video and reading through the description: youtube.com/watch?v=WOuI4OqJfQc

#FutureFunk #MJ #Remix[French House] Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)Abrix2020-04-25 | Hello you beautiful people!
I'm back but with something different today! Recently I have been enjoying a lot of Daft Punk and French House in general, I even watched the whole movie Daft Punk made especially for those songs! This was my first try on creating a French House track so its pretty sloppy but it has a nice vibe to it nevertheless! All it took was the song alone. I made the vocal chops and also chopped up and filtered the main melody quite a bit. I think the most exciting part was to layer and stack those superwave-synthesizers that you can hear in the background. I find it funny how long I can listen to a nonstop loop of this song.
The editing part was pretty easy but it took quite a while to get the particles to look smooth and in sync with the beat (granted, I do have a software that does it for me but I had to finetune it myself. Took quite some time). I didn't want to rip off the video of the original as a whole so I just decided on an abstract background.
As always, you guys amaze me with positive feedback. It's always really nice to read and answer all of your comments! Here's a little reward for watching my video and reading through the description: youtu.be/FGBhQbmPwH8?list=RDEM4eZDs_u8lV1UARX7tj9AEw

#FrenchHouse #HouseMusic[Future Funk] Rainy Day - Meiko NakaharaAbrix2020-04-23 | Hello you beautiful people!
Yep, I would say this is my favorite Future Funk Remix I've made yet. From the original song to the Future Funk Remix itself, this is the song I danced to the most. There's just something about this song. Now yes, this song has the same name as the "Rainy Day" Lofi Hip-Hop song, but that's okay. I decided to rename the Lofi track halfway through the upload and only later did I realize that it has the same name as this one. Oh well...
This song took me longer to make than expected. I had to replay the bass guitar and replace the sounds myself (with a VST plugin, of course, I'm too poor to get myself a Bass Guitar xD). The most inventive part, other from chopping up the song, was to replay the harmonies that the trumpets played in the background. I basically just had to guess what chords they were playing. Took me some good hours of my life to figure those out but eventually, I did and it sounds SO much nicer with boosted trumpets!
I actually only heard of the song because of my friend Akira, with whom I collabed twice by now. Those videos will be uploaded soon enough!
As always, thank you for watching this video and reading this. Here's something that will make you feel better as a reward: youtube.com/watch?v=s-33i2b17nc

#FutureFunk #Remix #JapaneseFunk[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - The ShoreAbrix2020-04-20 | Hello you beautiful people!
Yours truly is back with another Lofi track! This time: A relaxing track to listen to when youre at the beach! Ive honestly had SO much fun editing this. If you think about it, the editing is pretty simple. It is basically a loop of a shore. But I made it so that it reflected in the middle. It gave me those "Fall For You" vibes (another song of mine). I applyed the same effect there. I had a blast bluring parts in the song as if the bass would distort the camera alittle.
Other than that, this song is pretty old (in comparison to my other tracks) but I love it nevertheless. It has those 9th-chords-jazzy type of vibe, just a nice song to relax to. I wouldve loved turning this beat on when I was on vacation in Italy a year ago, I hope you will like it as much as I do!
As always, thank you alot for the feedback and support youre giving me in the comments. Enjoyy this nice video as a reward for reading all of this and watching my video: youtube.com/watch?v=1HbjtrZQ2-A&feature=emb_err_woyt
Thank you all for watching my videos, I try to put as much effort into them as possible. Stay tuned for more stuff ^^[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - Rainy DayAbrix2020-04-13 | Hello you beautiful people!
I am once again back with a very beautiful Lofi Hip-Hop song. This time it is a song which is supposed to accompany you on a rainy day. Along with the rain sounds in the background I often find myself thinking about drops of water whan I hear those fast reverbed pianos at the end of the song. It gives me the feeling as if I could sit infront of the window and endlessly observe the rain. I hope this song gives you the same vibes wherever you may be, whatever you are doing.
Unlike other Lofi songs this one (along with most of my Lofi songs) is supposed to make you feel relaxed instead of trapping yourself in your own thoughts. I had those moment quite some times when I listened to Lofi, just laying in bed, thinking about stuff, and often it was stuff that I did not want to think about. Sometimes my brain went as far as actually making me emotionless with some Lofi music that I used to listen to, but not mine. I prefer to express general positive vibes, would it be energetic ones like in my Future Funk Remixes or just relaxing moments of happiness with my Lofi Hip-Hop. So just close your eyes and let your Imagination flow, Im sure it will make you feel better ^^
Thank you all for the continuing support in the comments, I am always happy to read and answer to your kind words! Heres alittle something for you to thank you for watchin my video and reading all of this: youtube.com/watch?v=SBgQezOF8kY

#StudyMusic #LofiHipHop #Chillhop[Future Funk] Bay City Twilight - Junko YagamiAbrix2020-04-07 | Hello you beautiful people!
I am back with some more Future Funk for you guys! I would say this is one of my favorite remixes so far! It was definitely a blast to make, thats for sure. They way I danced to this track (even without the drums yet added) was on another level entierly xD Especially the middle part where everything fades out and the only thing you hear is the voice is AWESOME. The sample is as always, freshly cut, sped up and chopped up to boost the glitchy sound of everything.
I feel like Im definitely improving on sampling in general and making Future Funk Remixes, thank you all for giving me such positive feedback and believing in me. Its always nice to see so much of you watching the stuff I post! Even if its just a couple hundred, that is still a massive number! Imagine 100 people listening to something you made with your own two hands, the feeling is indescribable!
Here's to many more songs and remixes to come! Have a great day and as alway, enjoy the nice reward for watching my video: youtube.com/watch?v=O1puRnV6gwE -Abrix

#FutureFunk #Remix #JapaneseFunk[Lofi Hip-Hop] Abrix - The Bad Wanted BuckAbrix2020-04-03 | Hello you beautiful people!
On today's menu, Lofi Hip-Hop, served fresh and hot and salted to taste. Jokes aside, thank you for watching this video to whoever is reading this. This song was made before "Fall For You" so it is alittle less quality but its still a very good, chill song with a nice vibe to it. The way this song was created involved a tin of musical theory, especially in chord building. Scince I wanted it to have a kind of jazzy feeling to it, I chose to implement some 7th, 9th and even 11th chords that I already premade in one big ass folder. Makes you just chill out and appreciate living in the moment, doesn't it? Also, the monologue was from an old Cowboy movie!
To the editing: This was actually my first ever attempt to animate something more complex than my soundcloud popup thingy. I actually first made every individuall frame in GIMP out of all softwares, chose the way the background looked, animated the individuall shining stars, cut out the mountain with the cowboys from a picture I found on the internet and also animated the moving head of the horse. Took me FOREVER to make this but it was so worth it! Looking at the end result, probably the best animated video Ive ever done!

#StudyMusic #LofiHipHop #Chillhop[Future Funk] Vaughan Mason & Butch Dayo - Feel My LoveAbrix2020-03-26 | Hello you beautiful people!
Back with some new Future Funk. This time I remixed the song from Vaughan Mason & Butch Dayo. Absolutely loved the way the song sounded. It sounded so funky the whole way through! Fun fact, this remix actually would've never happened if my friends wouldn't have recommended the original to me. We were just talking like we always used to and I came up with a challenge to make a Future Funk Remix out of anything they would choose. And here we are, with a song that is (to this day) the most viewed song on my Soundcloud AND on my Youtube, isn't that crazy?
When it comes to the edit if the video I laughed my ass off while doing it! I randomly found a video of people dancing to funky music, sped it up, and chopped it up so that it would look smooth. God the energy they have in that video alone makes me pumped up. My friends and I had a great time just picking out the individual dances. Thankfully I went back and (along with the "Fall For You" song) remade the thumbnails in 1920x1080. Now, every time I make cover art for my songs I make them both in 3000x3000 for my Soundcloud and 1920x1080 for my Youtube.
The positive feedback you guys give me throughout all of my videos means so much to me. In a way, it even has influenced my music. I now am way more pumped about perfecting and releasing new music than I ever was before. Getting 200-300 views on a dead channel is already a big milestone. With time, hopefully, people will come back.
Thank you all for watching my videos, I try to put as much effort into them as possible. Stay tuned for more stuff ^^
#FutureFunk #Funk #VaghanMason&ButchDayo[Lofi Hip-Hop] Fall For You - Abrix & Edgar WillowAbrix2020-03-22 | Hello you beautiful people!
Although this is not the first Lofi song I've ever made, this is definitely one of my favorite ones! Back when I initially started making this song it sounded VERY differently from how it is now. That is because halfway through the process I met Edgar Willow. A very VERY talented musician that taught me a lot of things about different approaches to music production and overall mixing, mastering, sampling, EQing and so much more. He took the chord progressions I made and made the AWESOME base melody + drums for this song. The things he can do with one sample alone are astonishing! Definitely go check him out, he deserves all the love in the world: His Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/edgarwillow His Spotify: open.spotify.com/artist/0aSSG3PZeLcmBgFyQI5RXL His YT: youtube.com/channel/UCPimY9WoHvWvVOwh1FagHLQ/featured
Other than that, I had a blast editing this video. It took forever, but in the end, it was worth every second. I absolutely love the way the clouds move to the beat, almost like a visualizer! Fun fact, this was my first ever collab (at least in the sense of making music I mean) and it was a blast talking about all kinds of things involving music!
As always, have a great day, there's definitely gonna be more Lofi coming to this channel! Here's something nice to reward you for watching my video: youtube.com/watch?v=-ncIVUXZla8

#LofiHipHop #Ambient #ChillhopLets make LOFI HIP-HOP! | How to make Lofi Hip-Hop (Ableton Tutorial)Abrix2020-03-20 | Ok, so before anyone starts capslocking in the comments "BuT aBrIx ThAtS nOt HoW iT wOrKs": DISCLAIMER: This is how I make my Lofi Hip-Hop beats, that does not mean they're made right. I just make what I think sounds good.
Hello you beautiful people!
Its time for another tutorial. Im pretty happy about how it turned out. I spent sooo much more time on this video than on the Future Funk tutorial, mostly on editing but also on actually thinking about how to actually structure the video to make it both more entertaining and educational. As you could see, I tried splitting the video of the camera with my screen recording sometimes, which took quite a while to figure out how to do, but with some coffee and 2 hours of my life spent trying out several things, it worked!
I also tried implementing some jokes into the video, and yes, Its pretty edgy. My sense of humor is too so come at me xD. As Micheal Reeves once said: "(...) yeah, well some parents dont vaccinate their kids, so posting some shit will be fine" (dont quote me on that, its not exactly what he said xD I feel tho that I can definitely improove the jokes and actually make more constructive ones. I feel like I already know how I can do this exact thing in the future, so be ready.
As always, thanks for the support you guys give me in the comments, Im so happy everytime someone posts something on there. Of course Im always pretty quick to reply so yeah. Its pretty hard to revive a dying channel, but Im sure well get through it and rise from the ashes! Thank you again for watching, have a great day and I will see you guys very very soon. #MusicTutorial #LofiTutorial #MusicProductionTutorial[Future Funk] Mary Jane Girls - All Night LongAbrix2020-03-18 | Hello you beautiful people!
Coming back with some more Future Funk (or how you might call it). The thing is that most Future Funk Remixes are made based on a Japanese song/ anime song/ whatever it might be, but definitely not anything like from GTA for example xD
So, funny story. I used to play GTA a lot, so when I was searching for stuff to remix, this particular song stood out. I realized I could speed it up and put some drums underneath, just like a normal Future Funk Remix would look. So I said, "you know what, might as well have some fun"!
Of course, there had to be some sampling and "glitching" done, I would say, to make it more like Future Funk, but it was pretty easy when I got the hang of it! The most difficult was definitely making the thumbnail. Again, I had the problem that I started posting my music on Soundcloud first and only then to my Youtube (after a certain time), so I had to make a 3000x3000 pixel thumbnail into a 1920x1080. Luckily, the background of the thumbnail was pretty minimalistic only having one color (I actually really like the way the color looks) so I could just extend the whole thing and stretch it out to a 1920x1080 format. I've had plenty of experience making thumbnails for launchpadding videos back in the day, so after I figured out what I wanted to do, it didn't take long to finish the thumbnail.
Well, anyways I hope you enjoyed this funky song! There are many more to come! Have a great day! Here's a little something for watching my video: youtube.com/watch?v=a6KGPBflhiM -Abrix

#FutureFunk #Gta[Future Funk] Abrix - Yume No TsuzukiAbrix2020-03-16 | Hello you beautiful people!
So I decided to start uploading my songs onto my YouTube! It's a great way to present my music to a wider audience. Don't worry, I'm working on the "Let's make..." - Series ^^
Wow, my first ever Future Funk Remix and first-ever music video on my channel. I had a lot of fun making this song. While making it, I had the same exact image in my mind that you see on the screen right now: Somebody looking out in the distance on a sunny day. To be honest, I did never watch the anime the scene was from but it was so perfect, I HAD to implement it!
As you might know, I started uploading my music on my Soundcloud at first, so the cover art is, as you can see, rectangular (which, for youtube, it should be 1920x1080) so the thumbnail for this video is not exactly the best and high quality, but for now it will do! I definitely will make both a 3000x3000 for my Soundcloud and a 1920x1080 for Youtube in the future to make it more appealing!
Anyways, as always I thank you for listening to the songs and videos I post! It makes me very happy to get the tons of positive feedback I get right now! And yes, I am aware that my channel is not what it used to be and I kinda have to revive it, but with all the love you guys give me I'm definitely hyped up to make lots and LOTS more videos! Maybe I'll even reach out to newcomers someday.
As always, have a great day, and thank you for watching! Here's a reward for watching my video: youtube.com/watch?v=zhIScvlFn2w -Abrix
#FutureFunk #Remix #JapaneseFunkLets make FUTURE FUNK! | How to make Future Funk (Ableton Tutorial)Abrix2019-12-26 | Hello you beautiful people! Here's my first ever try to make a tutorial that involves music production. I have made many tutorials about launchpadding back in the day but this was far harder to record than any of those. The reason for that was simple: I was constantly nervous XD. Now that I think of it I was probably more scared to tell you guys something wrong about how to make Future Funk than anything lmao. Back then I did not know a lot about music production so I just went with my gut on the song. I feel like there are way more effective ways of making Future Funk but I just went with whatever I had at that time. Also, the video was not scripted (which it should have been). I just grabbed my ol' trusty Logitech 1080p (the sentence alone makes me chuckle) and tried explaining everything I did to my best. Nevertheless, I had a BLAST making this video because I feel like I should share the knowledge of music production with you guys! I hope you enjoyed the video, I'm definitely coming back with more tutorials and music videos! Have a great day!
