ANYWAYS......awhile back i convinced rowan to watch NGE, which, if you didnt know, is one of my all time favorite anime. my love for it was revitalized when i heard netflix was getting it after years of just watching it through a torrent, but then it was even FURTHER revitalized when netflix fucked up the dub and i went out and bought a $25 bootleg of the og dub that included EOE bc kawoshin does not deserve censorship.
ANYWAYS. if you havent watched nge do so. like, immediately. it is one of the most uncomfortable and visceral shows i have ever watched and the last two episodes were a big part on forming my thoughts and feelings on myself and my mental illness and my place in this world. seriously, nge is one of the most important pieces of media i have ever viewed and i know thats the same for a lot of others. even if you have to watch the netflix version (WITHOUT FLY ME TO THE MOON FUCKIN HELL) /please/ watch it. you will not regret it. i promise.
