In a previous video we took a look inside of a Air Strike nailer that was a store return item. Someone had botched in up really bad. Very small gauge wire and a half amp rated switch was used to bypass the the thermal switch and the entire motor load was directed through this switch. Wires were a melted mess and electrically it was FUBAR. I stated in that video that I would see if I could find one with the Blinking LED of death to look into. So in this video we look at the control board, the thermal fuse and even though the control board is beyond repair, we use a relay to get it going. This is not recommended and just showing a better option than the dangerous use of the low current switch for bypass that we seen. Like anytime, modifying any tool or equipment, you are doing so at your own risk. Mark the tool as MODIFIED and be careful.
