I feel incredibly fortunate to have created 3 different official remixes for the hit anime web series RWBY, and I believe this was by far the best of the three. The original version of Lets Just Live is one of my absolute favorite songs, and working with Jeff Williams is always an amazing opportunity! Rurouni Kenshin was the first anime I ever watched, and I fell in love with so many aspects of the show not the least of which was its soundtrack. Noriyuki Asakuras Departure is one of my absolute favorite songs (in any context), and it was important to me to keep the sad beauty present in the original song.
Please let me know if you feel I succeeded! I hope you enjoy this Symphonic Dubstep take on one of the best songs from an anime soundtrack, ever!
