RVLVR is an action-packed 2D shooter in which the player only moves when they shoot.
The robot armies have invaded the new frontier. It is up to you, as Rick, to travel across the wild west and into the robot base of operations to tear down the war machine! Do you have what it takes to defeat the robot armies? Explore, shoot, and race your way through four action packed levels! Dominate the robot armies with three powerful weapons! Compete and to secure your spot on the best records list!
Big Room Productions created this game to simulate working in the game industry as our respective specializations. At out core we wanted to learn as much as possible about the process as well as develop best practices for teamwork. RVLVR was made in approximately six weeks from Proof of Concept Gameplay to Launch during the Fall 2017 semester at SMU Guildhall.
This game was developed as part of the Team Game Production 1 class at SMU Guildhall.
