Another scale modelling & weathering "How To" guide by http://www.scalewarmachines.com.
This time, we are looking at making rusty panels and plates, like you see with "Hill Billy" armour. We used our "Mottled Gauze" technique with a host of paints. We also used other techniques to make a machine gun pulpit for our Trumpeter 1/35th scale BR52 Kriegslok.
This is part 1 of 2.
The video features acrylics (Vallejo/Lifecolor) but also oils. If you like weathering and are looking to replicate rusty steel plates, this should help you.
