Found In The Archive continues with some good shots of the VW Schwimmwagen Typ 166 swimming car, manufactured during World War Two.

I also found some images of some other versions, though not as successful as the German VW/Porsche car.

With the release of the new Tamiya 1/35th scale release of their Schwimmwagen as a wide-wheeled version, I thought I'd edit together some images from past shoots and archive reels for your viewing pleasue.
