I want to be clear about something before I go further. I am not here to convict Russell Brand. The allegations against him are being addressed through the appropriate legal processes and that is where they belong. What I am here to do is use that interview as a teaching tool — because what Brand displayed, whether he is guilty or innocent, is a near perfect illustration of the behavioural profile of the predatory male. And most people watching had absolutely no idea what they were looking at.
