In December of 2021, my partner Hilary Matheson and I got the amazing opportunity to race (my first in 20 months!), tour and eat our way through Thailand. From the chaotic tuk-tuk rides in Bangkok to the lush, technical jungles of Chiang Mai Province - we had an absolute blast in a world that was just beginning to come back to life after being closed to travelers due to the pandemic. It was an amazing experience thanks to The Sports Authority and the good people at Thailand by UTMB.
The food, the trails, the culture, the people...I hope I did the experience and the country justice. Can't wait to visit again Thailand!
The upcoming 3rd edition of Doi Inthanon Thailand By UTMB will be an Asia Pacific Major with over 5,000 runners from 64 countries. The events will be held December 8-11, 2022.
