This is a hybrid trip where I combine trail running with backpacking on Wisconsin's Ice Age Trail. On Day 1 of the trip, I run solo for 23 miles of the trail in the Kettle Moraine Southern Unit. After mile run, I meet up with friends. We campout and then spend 2 days backpacking the area. The Ice Age Trail is a beautiful, well maintained trail.
