RuneScape's Leagues II Equilibrium is changing while players are still solving it.
Jagex is lowering the number of tasks needed to unlock regions, boosting a long list of rare drops, and we now have the first real look at which regions and relics players are actually choosing. But what do those changes reveal about Equilibrium’s design?
This week, we look at whether lowering the wall to new regions weakens some of the hard choices Leagues was built around, how exceptions and fixes are changing the value of certain regions, and what the emerging meta says about the difference between PvM and skilling-focused builds.
We also discuss the region and relic pick statistics, where some choices may have become too dominant, the rare drop rate changes coming Monday, and where our own Leagues runs have taken us.
RSBANDBUpdate! is a weekly RuneScape podcast focused on long-term systems, lore, design philosophy, player expectations, and the direction of the game.
