In not super mega expected news we've got the announcement that Jagex is officially now working on an Unreal Engine 5 project in the RuneScape universe. Jagex is legendarily tight lipped when it comes to talking about what they're working on internally, so there's a higher likelihood that we'll actually get to see this RuneScape survival style game. Time will tell if it'll be any good, but if people enjoy the game I'm sure we'll slowly see a shift towards a newer engine for a RS MMORPG as well - time will tell though!
Oh and it's planned for consoles as well!
