Valve has come out and admitted it... They can't make more Steam Decks, they are not able to source RAM at a price which makes consumer electronics possible. As someone who's recently been shopping for RAM I can say that no-kidding, 64GB of decent timings DDR5 RAM can easily run you 800$ . Which obviously makes even just putting 32 or 16 in a device that is supposed to be a cheap alternative to a PC... quite a large part of the whole. Too large.
With a market that doesn't seem to clear in the coming year; we're in a bad spot!
