It's about damn time I uploaded another full-length edit.
I wanted to take a break from all the hype of now & pick a track that really meant something, & infuse my editing with the storytelling of Killer Mike & El-P. I'm certain this is my first edit that talks on subject matter this serious, so I took it serious with every beat sync. I decided to take some liberties & deviate from the plot of the original music video for 'Early', while still doing my best to maintain the essence of the original. I'm confident enough to say that this is probably my best work. Not to gas myself up, but I really dig how this came out.
This edit doesn't come from any fake empathy either; just as the track itself, this edit came from a very real place. All that being said, I still had fun making this & I'm so happy it came out this way. I think I nailed that Toonami/Adult Swim vibe. Hope you enjoy(ed)!
