Some of the musicians I follow here on YouTube are Blake Robinsons Synthetic Orchestra and ClefferNotes. Both take video game songs and put them in an orchestral format. They both also use a plugin named Albion One, by Spitfire Audio. So, I decided to take the plunge, buy the software, and try to make something cool using an orchestra. This track from Metroid Prime seemed like a great candidate to test out the plugin.
One of the main areas that I remember in Metroid Prime is that underwater ship. Not only was I stuck there, just like every other Metroid water level, but the music was just mesmerizing. So eerie, yet so calming. One of the many great areas in the game.

The first theme from Gourmet Race has a plethora of covers on Youtube and elsewhere, but the second theme hasnt seen as much love. Ive always liked this theme, and its always reminded me of a circus march, what with the oom-pah sound throughout. Add in some counter-melody and some transition sections, and there it is!
