Dear ex best friend,
I stuck by you for 8 years. You hurt me time and time again. You took advantage of the fact that I was and still am a people pleaser. I hate having people upset with me. You’d see me run back to you, time and time again. I defended you and was beside you for all your highs and lows, but you weren’t there for mine. When I finally branched out, started making new friends, better ones, you resented me for it. Even now, 2 years later , you try and act like you were always there for me. You pretend like we never had issues in our friendship. You were always in the right, and I was always in the wrong. You’ve never properly apologized to me, when you did you manipulated me into believing you were the victim. I was naive back then, 100%. But now?
