backstory cuz i need points: (tw? the story’s a bit dark LMAO) The girls in group are all part of a gang. Once upon a time they “let all that (insults) get to my head” but then they banded together fresh out of high school to take revenge on those who have wronged them. They inhabit a small town where they are the most elusive murderers and after decades of killings the town is essentially painted red with blood. One day, the group has an argument. Maddie, the leader of the gang, wants to “become famous instead.” She’s bored of working with the group and attempts to outshine them. After all, she said “I don't need a big feature or a new sidekick.” Those comments spark anger and in the end, the new leader Jojo, (as seen in the end of the dance) tells them to just “walk on by” past Maddie’s body after the fight…
