From developers Reikon Games (with help from the team at Devolver Digital), Ruiner is a twin-stick shooter set in a dystopian cyberpunk future where everyone is jacked into the system. This does me everything can be hacked and when someone taps into your wetwear and orders you to kill the big boss in Heaven you have to track down the ones responsible.

So during the stream I took a wander around the idyllic world of Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.
Developed by indie studio Prideful Sloth, Yonder is a third person adventure game that replaces the usual kill ten rats type fetch quests with more of a serene farming and building approach. The usual cast of NPCs handing out weird and wonderful mini mission are there but zero combat involved (at least so far). The game is best summed up as somewhere between Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Stardew Valley.

So last week (completely out of the blue it seems) the seminal on-rails, rhythm shooter Rez hit PC. Original released back in 2001 on the PlayStation 2 and more recently re-released in its Infinite iteration on the PS4 and PSVR. And now it finally makes the leap to PC and I just had to give it a go.
