The Royal Air Force (RAF) deployment of the Airbus A400M Atlas to RED FLAG-Alaska 26-2 (which ran from late May through June 12, 2026) was a major demonstration of the aircraft's heavy tactical airlift and joint forcible entry capabilities in a high-threat, simulated Indo-Pacific combat environment. Operating primarily out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, the RAF elements integrated tightly with U.S. and multi-national coalition partners.
