Thought this would be a good video to start the year off. I wasn't planning to release this as a single, but I felt like this year is already filled with so many emotions that the song's release was warranted. (I was also kinda just in the mood to release it.)

I wrote this song as the trailer theme for a project that me and my friend are working on (good chance you won't see it anytime soon), but out of all the songs that I currently have in the workshop, this one is by far my favorite. It's more of a character-driven song with multiple layers behind the lyrics as opposed to something purely talking about a personal experience, and I love that about it.

This is by no means the final version of the song (although I am very proud of the work I've done on it so far). I feel like some instruments need to be rerecorded or replaced, the vocals are good but could be better, and the mixing might be all over the place. I do wanna go back and rebuild the whole thing up from the ground up, especially now that I have a new music production software that isn't on my phone (yes, this was made on my phone).
