$The Return of Ulysses - Monteverdi Welcome to a story of war, love and vengeance. Ulysses returns to Ithaca after fighting in the Trojan Wars expecting a hero’s welcome, but what greets him are shifted loyalties and a fractured homeland. Following the success of Orfeo, The Royal Opera and the Roundhouse collaborate again for the first in-the-round staging of Monteverdi’s opera The Return of Ulysses.
