In our recent video walk-through of Rosa Barba’s solo exhibition ‘In a Perpetual Now’ at the Neue Nationalgalerie, we cover in detail the display of 15 of Barba’s cinematic works and sculptures, produced between 2009–2021. With its architectural structure, the large steel construction makes reference to Mies van der Rohe’s early project Brick Country House, while also showcasing the artist’s interest in the principle of cinematic montage, which plays a pivotal role in her work.
