Flagstaff County was proud to host Plant-a-Tree Day 2026 with graduating students from Daysland School, Central High Sedgewick Public School, and Forestburg School.
Plant-a-Tree Day is a legacy project created to celebrate the achievements of the Flagstaff Region’s graduating classes and honour their roots in the communities that helped shape them.
Each class took part in a short ceremony, helped plant a tree, and gathered for a photo beside a commemorative plaque. As these trees continue to grow in our communities, they will stand as a lasting reminder of the Class of 2026 and the next exciting chapters ahead.
To our graduates: stay rooted, keep growing, and remember that Flagstaff County will always be home.
Thank you to the Tree Corral for supplying the trees, Main Street Medley for creating the engraved plaques, and our municipal speakers for helping make each ceremony meaningful.
