TreeSisters and The Fountain are thrilled to share this short video, offering a glimpse into Rooted in Ethics: The Community Tree Stewardship Framework—its vision, its impact, and the voices behind it.
Filmed during the ceremonial launch on 18th June 2024 at Keble College, Oxford, this video weaves together moments from the event with interviews from partners and allies, sharing why the framework matters in shaping ethical, community-led restoration.
Developed over five years through collaboration and deep listening with representation from Original Peoples and Nations and tree-oriented organisations, Rooted in Ethics provides life-affirming guidelines, ethical principles, and practices for forest and land restoration, centring the rights of Nature, communities, and cultures.
