If you teach that we are all conceived as sinners and under God’s wrath, you will then have to create false doctrines to explain how Jesus escaped this inherited sin and end up with the immaculate conception, infant baptism and a Jesus who is not a fit substitute for sin. It was Augustine who invented this heresy in the 4th century after misinterpreting Romans chapter 5 from a inadequate Latin version of the Bible.
In this video I examine Romans 5-7 and show that Paul is contrasting life and death, mortality and immortality, and never speaking of a doctrine of inherited sin which contradicts the plain teaching of Scripture.
