Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodriguez says a new energy agreement with the United States will remain in force for 25 years and aims to increase the country's crude oil production to 1.5 million barrels per day.
Rodriguez said the deal would preserve Venezuela's sovereignty over its natural resources and help revive the country's economy.
