Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the 26th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Tuesday.
Addressing the “SCO Plus” meeting, Xi called for a more equal, just and multipolar world order, warning that unilateralism, hegemony and protectionism run against the tide of history.
He urged major powers to uphold international rule of law and called for a stronger United Nations, while rejecting bloc politics, tariff barriers and decoupling.
