Remember a short run by a man named Rodney Mack? He is married to former WWE/ECW wrestler Jazz, and he was D'Lo brown's replacement to Teddy Long's management.
Where has Mack been all these years? He and his wife Jazz have struggled to make ends meet at times raising a family on a low income. Mack has done a few notable things, he made his MMA debut back in 2008, and won in 21 seconds, but only ever had one match.
It's unknown why he stopped, apparently he still shows interest, and wants to do it again, rumors stated that in 2012 he challenged Bobby Lashley, but this is unconfirmed.
In 2011 he made appearances for NWA, and had his last appearance in March of 2012, but his wrestling career may not be over yet. Apparently he has talked about wrestling again, perhaps just as a per-appearance basis, but his name has came across my plate as a potential return. Again, I believe it would be for Indy shows only.
Two interesting notes I was unaware of, he was apparently really good friends with Chris Benoit, and Benoit had helped him become a better mat wrestler and grappler. The second thing I was unaware of, is that he and his wife Jazz own and operate a wrestling school called the Dog Pound. Jazz also owns a fitness gym mainly for youth, to help keep them motivated and off the streets.
Another interesting thing I was unaware of is that why Mack was released was because he suffered a major knee injury, so much of an injury that he cannot wrestle in long time matches, and his injury aggravates him quite easily, and he can't hold up to a weekly schedule.
