Sonny Siaki was backstage at the Impact tapings for the next weeks show, no he did not come to the ring, no he didn't wrestle, I didn't really post anything about it because there's nothing to it, but people went crazy.
He was backstage visiting friends and saying hi, that's all there was to it. Some people say that TNA offered him a contract for the One Night Only event and actually form a tag team with Petey Williams, others say that was just a rumor.
I don't know a lot about the guy really, all I know is he was on Family Feud last year and works at the UPS location in Atlanta Georgia. His contract with TNA expired in 2005, TNA offered him a new contract, but he declined, he has always been on good terms with TNA, Siaki retired in 2008.
Will he make a comeback? Doubt it, maybe just like one more match or something, but he wouldn't keep doing it for a long time, do you know why he retired? His brother was dying and needed a kidney transplant, and he gave his brother a kidney, he donated one for his brother, and was advised never to wrestle again and his insurance wouldn't cover him if he did.
Siaki retired for his family, his own blood.
