Rode have released two new shotgun microphones, updating their long-standing NTG1 and NTG2; the new ones are badged NTG4 and NTG4+

Apart from the latter having an internal rechargeable Lithium battery, the two mics are the same, audio-wise.

Here I unbox and do a very brief first test on the NTG4+ version and compare it, albeit very briefly and basically, to a Sennheiser ME66/K6.
