Originally broadcast on 5 August 1985 from the BBC Television Theatre in Shepherds Bush, London (which is now the Shepherds Bush Empire music venue) this performance of Running Up That Hill was later used by MTV America instead of the real promotional video for the single.

Wogan is a British television talk show presented by Terry Wogan that started as a weekly Tuesday night show, moved to Saturday evenings and from 1985 ended up airing 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. It ran on BBC1 between May 1982 and July 1992.
