Wogan is a British television talk show presented by Terry Wogan that started as a weekly Tuesday night show, moved to Saturday evenings and from 1985 ended up airing 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. It ran on BBC1 between May 1982 and July 1992.
Until 1991 the show was usually broadcast live from BBC Television Theatre in Shepherd's Bush, London. This theatre later became the Shepherd's Bush Empire music venue.
From 1991 it was broadcast from the BBC Television Centre, also in Shepherd's Bush.
Some shows were pre-recorded but broadcast unedited as if they were live.
Musical performances were usually lip synced.
