Description: Originally built as the Laramie, North Park & Western, this rail line eventually became part of the UPRR but was sold off during the mid 80s. The new owners operated a tourist passenger train between Laramie and Fox Park, but had to give up the line when their only source of freight revenue - a lumber mill in Walden, CO burned down. It was a nice trip while it lasted.

64 members of the RMRRC came to Strasburg, CO to tour the Uhrich Locomotive Co, the local museum, lunch and a train ride. I was too busy helping with the event to get many pictures but I did get this little bit of some of the guys on the trains. A good time was had by all, including those of us who made it happen.
