Originally built as the Laramie, North Park & Western, this rail line eventually became part of the UPRR but was sold off during the mid '80"s. The new owners operated a tourist passenger train between Laramie and Fox Park, but had to give up the line when their only source of freight revenue - a lumber mill in Walden, CO -- burned down. It was a nice trip while it lasted.
