I never got around to playing this when it came out. It flew under my radar and I didn't catch wind of it until way later. It must've been like 2016 when I heard of this game. I do admire that Konami went back and tried reviving a retro classic but this needed more time to cook.

The graphics are lackluster, the gameplay is janky, and the music is forgettable. While I enjoyed doing my first playthrough of this, I don't think I'll be going back. I'd much rather play the Genesis/SNES games. I feel that they could def make another one if it has pixel art and incorporate chiptune music. For now this one is best left in the XBLA days.
